In 2005 I wrote an article for Classic Boating magazine called “Infamous Beauties: The Story of the Lake ‘n Sea Speedboats” to tell the most up-to-date history of this famous brand and the companies that manufactured them. As the time goes on I will be posting more specific facts as I continue my research using archival records, documenting owner’s boats, and studying ongoing restorations so that the history of the brand will continue to grow and become more clear to everyone.
